Like you, I look to save money when and where I can and only invest in essentials and really worthwhile projects that will give an instant return and proven profit or reduction in labour costs.

I was approached in May 2017 by Arkaya Energy with what I can only describe as one of these things you look at with scepticism. i.e. Too good to be true. However, after seeing the system in operation and speaking to another dairy farmer not far from me who has been using the system for some time now, I went ahead and had the system installed. I constantly keep on top of our electricity usage as this is one of our largest bills. Our bills run at around £900 per month, so one month after the installation of the Arkaya System you can imagine my surprise and delight when our bill dropped to £500, a significant saving. Nothing else has changed in either the equipment we used or the way in which we used it, other than the installation of our new Arkaya Hot Water System.

I decided to run exactly the same checks of my electricity bill the next month to make sure the saving was constant, and the saving had been maintained. Couple all of this with same day response to any questions we had, and the quick no fuss installation and it becomes a complete no brainer. This changed me from sceptic to believer. I am happy to speak to any other sceptical dairy farmer that finds themselves in the dilemma that I found myself in with this system, to assure them of the savings and the credentials of Arkaya.
